Futant Oblivion is an experimental solo project. It is predominately instrumental. Futant Oblivion is exclusively an "Instrumental" metal project.

I started Futant Oblivion in 1997, and I have released 4 albums on the internet for free downloads.

Futant Oblivion - Law Of Decay released 2006
Futant Oblivion - This Chosen Madness released 2007
Futant Oblivion - Incoherent Universe released 2008
Futant Oblivion - Giving Up The Ghost released 2009

Future release (2009?-2010) will be entitled "Synagogue Of Satan"

I would consider this "Instrumental Rock/Metal."
Why this name?
Futant is a term coined by the late Dr. Timothy Leary. It is a melding of two words, "Future" and "Mutant," - a genetic caste that fabricates the future and acts as evolutionary scouts for humankind.
Do you play live?
I haven't played live to a large group of people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a great promotional medium and I have no problems with people copying my music or making mixes with it, as long as credit is given when due.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes

April 2006 to Sept 2006 - Brief collaboration in "Beautitude." with "Frozen Mist" and other artists.
