Crossworm is a mad scientist, combining gritty hardcore hip hop, with a controversial punk attitude, distinctive production, and pulsing Rapcore beats. The death of the same old bullshit has finally arrived, with Crossworm's dirtcore sound driving the hearse at full speed.

Crossworm represents a chance for something more honest and real to be heard by a broader and more mainstream audience. His blend of Hip Hop and Industrial music is the most successful and natural sound to occur, without becoming another bloated and corporate brand of pop retardation.

BIOGRAPHY:

Crossworm aka Johnny Cross is a self produced underground solo artist, originally born in Windsor, Ontario Canada... Crossworm has combined hip hop with punk and industrial since 1998. For over a decade he has been frequently called a revolutionary and a genius by many of his peers and fans, and continues to break the mold of underground artists. He calls both his fans and his musical style, "dirtcore".

Without ever truly finding a niche, he has collaborated with artists all over the world, and appeared on many underground compliations and mixtapes across the USA. Including the Underground Hustlin series which has shipped over 30,000 units. He has also appeared on compilation releases along side artists such as Cashis, and Kon Artist of Shady Records, Bizzy Bone, and Tech N9ne and Kutt Kalhoun of Strange Music.

A jack of all trades, Crossworm began as a drummer in 1991, and has become a powerful producer and vocalist since. He is also the drummer and song writer for Los Angeles based Indie rock / Punk band, Demerol. Crossworm is also a certifiable audio engineering graduate out of Toronto.
