This will be the first 'single' from Norton Disney's new album 'Less'. Full of tunes rather than just noise, although the styles vary from ballad to almost punk.
Complete contrast to Weightless, this is a piano-drven ballad - although still a little angsty, can't be too sweet with these things;-)
This one's kind of U2-ish, although completely unintentionally. It just came out that way.
I'm particularly proud of the harmonies in this one - which you only get to hear properly in the very last chorus at the end, where they're almost acappela
Gritty, dirty track about the importance of staying in touch.
Sweet little ditty about the dangers of 'buy now, pay later'
(Has rude word;-) so there's a 'clean' radio edit, too.)
Prog-Rock? Just about.
Another brooder about what happens if...
Hope for the future.
The only song with a drum-machine in it, incidentally.
Essentially, a love song.
Time will set us free.
A tale of heartbreak, retribution & escape. A beaten wife desperate to leave; the husband & the distant stranger who's loved her all his life - trouble is, that's just one man.
Don't be fooled - this slow ballad turns into a punk track half-way through. There's a bit of language in it, too, so there's a clean radio edit should you wish.
My favourite track - a long, slow drifting love song, building to the end. take your time with this one, allow it to wash over you. You can sunbathe under it, even in February.
