So, I started to write and compose back in 1999 as therapy for a divorce from a marriage of 29 years. Sounds familiar? Anyway, I walked into a Circuit City and saw this Yamaha Keyboard. I played the demo, which was the theme to the James Bond films (one of my favorites) and was sold! I've never really played before, nor can I read music, but I thought this was cool. I labeled the keys and just started to play. I have written and composed over a dozen songs to date, but only four are professionally completed thanks to my good friend and producer, Bobbi Tommaro at Funkee Boy Music. I met Bobbi after I joined the CT Songwirter's Association and started to network at East Coast Music in Danbury. Needless to say, I don't perform three of the four tracks on this site as I know my weaknesses as far as singing myself. I did perform Mid-Life Crisis Blues as Bobbi thought I was the best one for that one. Leila, a very talented singer(has her own website:Leilasworld.com) sings Good Friends. Tony St. Tone sings Didn't Have A Clue (my very first song written) and Aaron Van Gers Daele sings This Special Moment, which was written as my vows for my recent wedding last August (2006). Yes, I've finally gotten over the first marriage with no regrets. Have two terrific daughters and two more from this marriage. Life is good! Oh, and if anyone needs help in designing their CD's, it's what I do for a living along with the rest of my graphic desing business at www.thecreativegrp.com. Thanks for listening; please let me know your feedback.
Why this name?
I was born with it.
Do you play live?
No, not yet. Need to practice more first.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows artists that don't have the contacts or resources to get their music out there for others to listen to. Thank you for that!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If offered, why not?
Band History:
Work in progress.
Your influences?
Bruce Hornsby has been my biggest influence to date. Man, what a talent!
Favorite spot?
Vermont is nice, but so is Salzburg, Austria.
Equipment used:
I have a Yamaha and Korg Keyboard
Anything else...?
If anyone needs help in designing thier next CD/DVD cover and inserts, please let me know. It's what I do for a living.
