I am a musician. Part of Sconey Productions. A production company composed of musicians, producers, and artists that are dedicated to music and the art of music.
A slogan we use is "WE ARE THE MUSIC AND THE MUSIC IS US." We keep all of our music open to fall under any genre. I personally am a jazz/soul person but the company is of all genres of sound.

Why this name?
I chose ScottyRoX because my name is Scotty and I rock. So when you speak from the third person you say SCOTTY ROX!
Do you play live?
I play live at church and I definitely enjoy it. I get a rush from the high energy but positive environment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe the internet is the next wave of the future for music and media. Life as we know for entertainment is now taking a turn to better our fates as indie labels and independent artists
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
More than likely no. But it depends on what kind of contract

We are in business for the freelance artists who have yet to sign with a major record label (if they want a record deal). For the people, by the people is a motto we use. Our accessible open to the public recording studio allows everyday artists/musicians to come in, record, and put their vision on a CD that is formatted and ready for distribution so that the WORLD may enjoy their work. Our quality studio time is at an affordable rate for the up and coming person striving to make it. Sconey Productions also has quality music for sale which is accessible to any and every indie or major artist/label. We produce, engineer, mix, master, and distribute albums. Advertising is also available for any nature of business including non-musical businesses.

I use a roland board with a Yamaha O2R mixer and an Alesis Control station integrated with a windows2000 PC running cubase SX and FLStudio 6.8 as VST
