Certainly makes it easier for unsigned artitsts to get exposure. Scares the crap out of record companies.

2ndmind was created as a solo electronic project by Rick Phillips. Later, Rick's friend Jimmy Cafarella was tricked into joining as 2ndmind moved away from strict electronic to a more Pop/Rock/Electronic monster.
