play lo-fi play hi-fi  Blue Lotus
Why this name?
It was chosen for me at birth.
Do you play live?
I enjoy playing live synthesizer drones manipulated in real time. I love sending the audience on a trip outside of themselves and more importantly to have them create a sacred space where the outside world is not invited.

One of the highlights was performing my extended Tone Poem, "The Singing Forest", at a Unitarian Church in Clearwater. I remember a church member stating that it was a throwback to the 70's electronic music for them.

Perfect!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's just an additional marketing tool. However, underground artists can reach out to more people, via DIY, rather than relying on a major label.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes as long as I am allowed total control.
Your influences?
Cliff Burton, Billy Sheehan, Justin K Broadrick, Coil, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Tangerine Dream (70's), Klaus Schulze (70's), Sun Ra, Eliane Radigue, La Monte Young, Angus MacLise, etc.
Favorite spot?
Anna Maria Island, FL.
Equipment used:
Synthesizers, electric basses, computer programs, etc.
