AXA is Techno-Metal band, originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia, now in USA. Having heavy sound with female vocal is ideal combination for us. We were awarded many times, have hundreds and hundreds of TV shows and magazine articles & cover pages. But we have sold only few thousands in USA, and now we are trying to change that fact. (our first CD was in Bosnian language)

It came in the dream...
Do you play live?
We have played a lot earlyer, but now we are trying to focus on studio work and looking for new recording label.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet changed music. During our work in Bosnia, we couldn't imagine our songs downloaded more than 200.000 times in 2 years....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, our first CD "Therion Confidential" is published by RCS, back in Europe. Our CD EP "The Other Side" is signed by "DeepFearMusic" in USA. We are trying to be visible for major labels, but I don't think they are looking for new bands on the internet....
Band History:
Band's leader is Haris, Academic Designer www.modrica.com/axa, that joined forces together with Adisa (singer). Throughout years, band went through personal (line up) and stylistic changes. What started as Heavy Metal with Sympho-Rock influences, ended up as Euro Style Techno Metal with Ethno spice. On our CD, 'Therion Confidential', you can hear those changes, but main idea, heavy guitars and female vocals, basically stayed same.
During it's life in Bosnia, band collected several awards on National TV and International Festival 'FORTE', band also played for President Mr. Bill Clinton during his visit to Sarajevo. We were asked by U.S. Embassy representative to perform for him as 'most progressive band in Bosnia'. Band has seven professionally shot videos that are constantly aired on different Bosnian TV stations (including the National TV) and hours worth of studio videos. Adisa, band's vocalist, isalso a Fashion Model.
The band is Currently in USA and works on new materials, film music and music for other artists (the band scores several movies, documentaries and commertials).
