Why this name?
haha, took a lot of thot to come up with something interesting and original, but the idea comes from my persistant obsession with energetic music. The effect that energetic music has on the body is unbeliveable, how just the sound entering your ears can be turned into electrical signals on their way to the brain, and as with all forms of energy, during travel and use energy is lost. Through wires, through use, ect. So my belief is that electrical signal traveling through nerves toward the brain for interpretation loses energy along the way, and where does it go? the surrounding cells, giving your body the energy to move...to dance.
Do you play live?
Yes i play live, mostly at parties now. i rarely ask for money. I play where ever the party's at. I love it. All moments playing live are sacred to me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps underground artist like myself to get out there, a chance to see wat people think about ur music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i would, but it'd have to be a damn good deal, cuz ive heard too many horror storeis about people getting screwed and told wat to play. i may go indie all the way.
Your influences?
I grew up listening to my moms cds, madonna, ace of base, rusted roots, the works. then i transitioned to eminem and kid rock and limp bizkit back in their glory days, then to more aggressive music like slipknot and mushroomhead. But when metal started loosing soul and got too technical and started all sounding the same i bailed out and went back to my roots, electro dance. i found that since i first listened to electronic music, many more genres had been born and matured, and took a liking to industrial, and hard house, and other dark energetic music. I took my interests there, and my interest from the metal side, and brought them together to suit my taste. a healthy dose of Hard Heavy Dance. A shot of energy, a dose of darkness, and a pinch of symphonic beauty and majesty.
