It's AMPlified music for many reasons. The word amplify means to make stronger, greater, larger. This is the only way I can describe the music that I do. Nothing low-level. And probably the most noteworthy, AMP just happens to be my initials.....Antonio Michael Penick.

The internet definitely change how artists make their money. You don't see artists selling millions at a time in the states like you used to. Eventually, I believe it will force artists to put out quality music, which is very rare these days. However, the internet is a highly effective marketing tool, so there are plenty of open ended opportunities available.

As long as the deal is on the up and up.

I first became musically interested some time near the end of 2005. I've always been a fan of music, but I never thought I would pursue it as a career. I truly believe that God put music on my heart. Since then, I have taken the time to figure out what my style will be, and while it's heavily based on hip-hop, I respect all music. I am currently preparing tracks, and looking for respectful artists to collaborate with.

There are SO many influences. The old Motown sound, early hip-hop, many many artists (Nas, Eminem, The D.O.C, Jay-Z, Bone Thugs n Harmony, 2Pac, B.I.G, Big Pun,.......) producers (Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, DJ U-Neek,......)....just music in general.
