Daniel Zachary, aka Daniel Zax is a shadow producer who's main leitmotiv is to give all the place to the music. the face behind the music as no interesting matter. He is mainly inspire by advance hip hip, funk, soul, experimental and ambiant. His upcoming label, RadioZax, will focus uniquely on emerging artist that is mostly into twist break, experimental hip hop, krump beat and lowfi funk. anyone that have a serious interest in music, any producer, rapper musicien, and you think RadioZax can be a good partner for you, come on down!!
Why this name?
well it's part of my name, daniel zachary. But i used zax for a graphic effect and also it has a far mather of the axe that could be a heavy tool, a guitare or, as writing by Roger Waters about Syd Barrett, a certain way of living that might be dangerous for itself. "Careful with that axe Eugene" the call of the crazyness that blowed into Syd's head..ouf
Do you play live?
no. i'm a studio rat. eventually, if i found somebody else to create a real stage show, we'll see.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it as a real democratic effect on what we are listening and why. and by it's democratical effect, it give chance to many unknown artist to emerge more easily, as they deserve it as well as anyone.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, depending on who and all aspect of liberty and exclusivity point.
Band History:
i've been doing music for theater shows and also for hip hop & krump crew. some remix for techno and electro band, but my own project is very young. still working a lot on the sound itself.

pink floyd. timbaland. the meters. ttc. the roots. dj shadow. massive attack. soundtracks. afrika bambaata. wackies.
Favorite spot?
the entire San Francisco bay.
