Who is Cassius? Thats what alot of people are asking right about now. Cassius, born Nickoli'Link has has had a "passion for hip-hop every since birth" he recalls. "I remember making beats with my mouth around the house when i was like 4 or 5 years old and my mother would just yell at me saying that I would annoy her". But he didn't let that stop him. Now making beats a little more professionally using "fruityloops@protools",he has got alot of recognition for his talent of producing and rapping/singing and just at the age 18 years old.
Why this name?
Whenever you hear the name Cassius you immediately refer to the legendary boxer "Muhammad Ali". I actually got the name "Cassius" from one of my high school teachers because she said i spoke from my mind just like him and i wasn't afraid to put someone in their place when it was needed so from there I said why not call myself cassius you know.
Do you play live?
All my spots i performed at was in Cleveland and Columbus Ohio!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel that with out the internet and little portable devices, the underground artist wouldnt really be heard. but with this new technology,the world has evolved around the web and allows people to get tracks from artist that without the internet would never be able to get,have the opportunity to have an whole underground artists cd with all just a click of a button.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would still sign because rapping isn't just something i do for fun with my friends or something. I actually genuwine love making music and its something i want to do for a long time.
