Band History:
“Dillgin! One would say but that’s poison!” True but we are talking about a D.J. born on the 3rd March 1969. Under the sign Pisces and according to his Nyabinghi faith; that means that he is a benji, (he who feeds the people).

He started dee-jaying under the name “Tony Ghost” at age twelve in the parish of Trelawny. He could be found hanging around the sound systems “Angola Disco” in his community where he could display his talent; on leaving the country, he graduated to a bigger sound system “Vibration Disco” with which he launched his career in the eighties. After a short stint in England with Daddy U Roy as his mentor “Tony Ghost” released a chain of singles and combinations with other artists such as “Joker Poker” on the Jimmy Cliff label, “Leaking Pot”, “The mind whey my got” and Jah Message”.

With his career gaining momentum his peers decided that he needed a name that would captivate his audience “Dillgin” was born; yes the poison, and now assigned to the former “Music Sponsor Record Label, now “Wall Streetz Recordz”. Dillgin continued to impress his audience with his hard cutting DJ style, continued to voice a volume of singles including “Youth of Today”, “Trod Along” a duet with Rudy Ruff “Call mi name” and the smash hit “Come nuh” in combination with Tanya Stephens. Between 1998 and 2001 his fan base become bigger with break through his hit single “Cuss Cuss” a duet with singer Mark Ice which created a storm on the air waves and on television the song “Cuss Cuss” soared to the #1 spot on the WLIB 1190 AM Radio Station in New York. After “Cuss Cuss” Dillgin voiced “It’s too late” and “Girls Fun” all on the Wall Streetz Recordz Label.

Early 2004 Dillgin scored another hit, linking with singer Steve Machete in the single “Hooligan” for the Wall Streetz Recordz Label, with heavy rotation on radio and television “Hooligan” then became a household song on the lips of the Jamaican people and who attend the dancehall. This DJ’s love for the music has stretch well over two decades and he has vowed to never stopped pleasing his fans with the household type music you will enjoy, and “Dillgin” will poison all who don’t like peace, love and unity.
