We are an electronica/techno group from Topeka Kansas. With a wide array of attempts at different genres of electronic music, we are slowly but steadily building a small fanbase and gaining enough skill to someday become something more than a simple 'garage band.'
Why this name?
It fits our gaming nature well. And honestly, what name isn't already taken? Old sK3wL 4 real.
Do you play live?
Nope, no live shows yet as we are still developing as a band.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Without a doubt. Once we are sure enough that we can make music, that is.
Band History:
1-UP is the product left in the wake of DJ Lotus and DJ iMPY's collision. The resultant caustic acoustic creations can occasionally be considered music.
Your influences?
DJ Lotus prefers the bassy tones and house beats where as DJ iMPY has a tendancy towards ambience and trance. Covering the entire range is what we aim for and i would like to think that on occasion we actually manage to do it.
Equipment used:
Computer Samples, Microphone, Synthesizer, and anything we can manage to get our hands on. If it can make music, we will use it.
