"Crimson Spider" was the nickname given to serial killer Lucian Staniak who is often compared to Jack the Ripper for his murders in the 1920's. His commitment to a lunatic asylum for life has silenced his voice for the past quarter-century, perhaps for all time, leaving his murders unsolved.
