I have tinkered around with music since I was young, with first influences coming from being in a folk trio with my Mother and older Brother performing songs by groups such as Peter, Paul and Mary, the Kingston Trio and the Limeliters. This was during the 60's.
During and after High School there was a large variety of groups to draw influence from, such as Eric Clapton and Cream, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, James Taylor, Jethro Tull, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Steely Dan, etc., etc.
Played in a "basement band" for a few years, and did manage to play some gigs, and a few "battles". At the time, played trumpet, guitar and vocals.
Currently, I record in my home on a Boss BR900-CD digital recorder, using my Martin J-15, and a yamaha keyboard, and do my own vocal backups.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has motivated me to get off my butt and start to get some of my original music recorded. The song "My Little Ballerina" was written years ago for my daughter, and because of the inspiration from the internet posting "thing", I completed my recording of this song in time to surprise her at her wedding last May (2007)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, right.......
I was thinking of going to Nashville with a mess of CD's and selling them on corners till I am discovered!!!!!
