We all went away and prayed and thought about a possible band name and then came back with a list of names. Then we voted until we narrowed the list down to one. 1000 Day Journey won out!!

We do play live. We play coffee houses, churches and festivals. We love to play before an audience as it gives us an opportunity to connect dirctly with God's people.

The internet is the great equalizer. You don't have to have major label connections to be all over the world.

Circleville, OH Christian band 1000 Day Journey is a brotherhood of five Central Ohio musicians dedicated to spreading the word of the love of Jesus Christ and His saving grace to a lost and dying world through music and testimony. The ministry began in 2005 without a name with Lawrence Ervin on guitar and Dan Neil on vocals. Various musicians came and went in the band’s first year but at the beginning of 2006 permanent players began to emerge. Mike Rhodes a veteran of the Ohio music scene (and longtime collaborator of Lawrence Ervin) moved in at bass followed by Ed Stouder on keyboards, guitar and vocals. The last piece to the puzzle found its place as Charlie Morrison joined on drums and percussion.

After a very successful 2006, the band is excited to embark on the path God is laying before them. A recording project is under way and live dates are piling up. The only goal and vision of 1000 Day Journey is to bring praise to the Living God and to introduce His people to the love and salvation of Jesus. The band is looking forward to the opportunity to minister to whomever God sends their way in 2007 and beyond.
