Hey, I'm Sean, I'm 20. These songs I write are a part of me. I put as much raw emotion and hooks in it as possible. I'm all about something being catchy, so naturally [I feel] my songs can be pretty catchy.
I draw from a lot of different bands that I love, both musically and lyrically. It comes through in a lot of my songs. My favorite band however, is Say Anything. No other band has made me want to do this more than them. Max is a pure genius and I can relate to his situation and songs.
In the future I will be looking for a drummer, guitarist and bass player. If you are interested please talk to me. However going into this you should know, I really am looking to keep creative control. Anyone can offer ideas, but I'm creating all the music basically.
I'm saving up money to go record a 5 song demo in a couple months. I'm going to chose my best 5 songs and I'm playing all the instruments and singing on all the tracks.

Why this name?
It's actually kind of wierd.. we were moving into our new house and my mom had this curtain set and the brand was called "Waverly" and I thought it was neat.. unfortunately other people have that name too.
Do you play live?
No, as of now I don't play live. I might do some acoustic stuff before I form the actual whole band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
its deffinately easier for kids to get into new bands.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. As long as I had my own terms, without a doubt.

I love California and I love Michigan.

Please know that the songs on here are rough recordings. The song that has somewhat drums in it "Not Anymore" are keyboard drums and not a real set. Plus a lot of the songs are sloppy. Which is why I'm saving up to go into the studio in the coming months.
