Reb StreetWise is part of the group called SWA (StreetWise Alliance) and other half of Da Infamous South (D.I.S). ReB delivers fresh rhymes and entertaining lyrics about his personal experiences and observations. With the beats from Paranoxx, another member from SWA, he delivers songs that can make you bounce, think, chill and just wild out.
Why this name?
ReB are my initials, so its a no brainer why i chose them, coz when u pronounce it like u read it, then u exactly know what i do.
Do you play live?
yeah, live performances are fun and a real adrenaline rush. and its always good to see how your songs connect directly wit an audience.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it makes it so much bigger and it gives upcoming artists new ways of exposure. so in that way its good, but it also has its downsides, like the privacy issues. And it takes a lot more money away from the industry, but they rich anyway.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
depends on what they put in the contract, and what i can get out of it of course
Your influences?
Yeah im down wit all kinds of music, but especially black music, funk soul, jazz and hiphop ofcourse. But more recently im down with the south hiphop, guys like jeezy, lil wayne, ludacris, t.i etc.
Favorite spot?
my favorite city is my hometown, Oranjestad Aruba
