SomeLight
One man band, who writes, plays all intruments and produces the stuff you hear. Oh, and also plays drums in a band called The Sleaze Report...who will be coming soon!!!!
Why this name?
My dad's called Peter....French for Peter is Pierre...erm...says it all really
Do you play live?
Nah....don't have time with my little rock n roll family. Bad enough finding time to record for myself and play with the other band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's an enourmous boost for amateur muscians like myself who want to be heard and receive feedback from other like minded muscians, with out having to spend millions of pounds to distribute the music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
mmmmmmmm..................we'll see!!!!
Band History:
Didn't get into music till I was sixteen and living in Leicester......I heard Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2 and I was hooked. I gradually learned to play other instruments since then mainly teaching myself. Jack of all trades master of none.
Your influences?
Ryan Adams, Elliott Smith, U2, Nirvana, Radiohead, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohan, the Beatles...I could carry on all day.
Favorite spot?
Edinburgh, Scotland...beautiful, beautiful city
Equipment used:
Fender telecaster, Goulds Les Paul slim body, Fender amp, Westfield acoustic, yamaha keyboard and drum machine. And Cool Edit Pro V.2 to record everything
