Jamar Strawter, known to the music world of Louisville, KY as Soulja, was born in Louisville 8/9/86. Jamar a.k.a Soulja discovered his love for rap music as a young child during his elementary school years. He would play around with beats and rhymes just for fun, until he became a teenager in highschool, where he began to take rapping seriously. In between the year 2003 to 2004 Jamar decided to make rap music a career. His influence came from the streets. Since his father was rarely ever around to show him the ropes of becoming a man, he used the streets as his guide.He was never really a big menace to society, but he realized that slanging drugs and roaming free without discipline would soon be his downfall.
