The story of Arising began in Spring 2004, as Thomas and Thomas started writing songs together. Throughout the year the instrumental section of the band was completed with the additions of Ivan, guitar, and David, bass. However the band only found true completion on 22nd January 2005, when the band was joined by the singing talent of Yvonne.

After only a short time the band had quite a collection of their own compositions, and it was armed with these songs that they approached the studio after only three months together, to record the first Arising demo.

But the real talent of Arising can be seen through their live performances. Whether it is through band competitions such as Unplugged, where Arising reached the semi final, or in venues such as Planet Music or Arena Nova, Arising gives their all and presents an amazing live show. At the moment awaits the opportunity for Arising to play in the quarter final of the largest Austrian band competition, The Austrian Band Contest 2006.
