Dogslobber

This is just hard music, or soft music played hardly, but hardly anything is played softly. While I create music spanning many genres, Dogslobber is the creative outlet for the "heavier" stuff.
Why this name?
Dogslobber is something some people can tolerate, some people love, and some people just simply find repulsive. It came from something that happened while leaving a yogurt shop and a large dog barked at me, spraying me and my yogurt as I walked past his car window. A tough decision had to be made as to the consumption of my yogurt.
Do you play live?
I've played in a couple bands. Would love to play hard music again if the multi-track recorder magically turned into a band (but I bet they'd disappear at the stroke of midnight.)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For people outside the music industry, it gives us a way to be heard and get some of our music out there. In the past, this would have not been possible.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ha! Sure I would. I'd also play NFL football, but neither would last long and people would be saying "what the heck is he doing here?"
Band History:
Just a lone multi-instrumentalist with multi-track capabilities.
Your influences?
Too many to list, but none you'll be able to discern.
Favorite spot?
In front of a recorder.
Equipment used:
For this, a Boss BR-600, a Fender guitars & bass, Shure microphones, RhythmRascal software, and Audacity software.
Anything else...?
I would love to play some of this or other music with other people. The "band" dynamics are always a little strange though as I'm a boringly normal guy, not into the "scene".
