SHOLA LEWIS
Is a Gambian by nationality, based in Atlanta Georgia in The USA. He started his musical career in Ghana West Africa as an amateur performer during the yearly student pop chain music festival, organized by the Ghana Music and Film Unit, whilst he was in high school, in that country.
He was also a leading force in the music scene in both Ghana and The Gambia, his home country as a radio personality and DJ.
In 1982, Shola moved to Atlanta, GA in the U.S.A where he now calls home and in 1989 he formed a Reggae group called “MINI-WEST” and worked with them until 1994. That same year he formed his current group “Small AX” and is the leader and lead singer of the group, regarded as the leading reggae band in Atlanta.
Shola has release three CDs, “I Don’t Understand”, “Covers” and “You Are The One”.
