Born in West Philladelphia, PA Robert Floyd was concieved into poverty and a broken home. With an abusive father and a struggling mother Robert was forced to adapt and pursue the only way possible to gain funds. Floyd joined the bloodhounds a notorious street gang at the age of 9. When his mother became aware of his actions she quickly moved Robert and herself to the state of Michigan to rid her child of gang activities and herself from a tyranical boyfriend. Out of his hatred toward his mother for the move and the separation from the only people he felt protected by, Floyd began writing lyrics. Deshawn Palmer an active member of the bloodhounds who moved to Detroit with Floyd began to notice that his talent was growing with every rhyme he wrote. Palmer then asked the question "Is this what you want to do with your life?" Floyd responded "Yes". Using drug money and bloodhound connections Battlefield Records was born. With repetitive hi-hats and a southern feel under intelligent lyrics and catchy chorus' the record label created a sound that has never come from Philladelphia or Detroit. With his lyrics devoloping fast and partner in crime Deshawn Palmer slain over drug disputes, out of the hate and ashes rose Floyd's alter ego Foe Five. A heartless, manipulative, yet respectful and strategic businessman. Over 10 years and 1.4 million dollars later Foe Five continues to make music in search of his dream, a major label deal solidifying him into the craft he swore to spend the rest of his life constructing into perfection. Recording the music that breaths life into his soul.
Why this name?
As a young'n I was hard headed. Got into alot of altercations for no reason. Pickin' beef with dudes and crews because I wanted to prove I was the opposite of a bi***. During a fight, one of my homies hit me by mistake, like I said I was dumb so I served him anyway. His girl was like "what are you doin'? are you his friend of his foe?" I said Foe. So my boys and eventually everybody started callin' me Foe cus I was hated by a sh*** load of people. First and favorite weapon was a .45 caliber pistol, ultimately FOE FIVE.
