Well D' is the first letter in my name and The Rugged One is just a way to describe my style and my sound.

I play Bass guitar and ive toured the us twice.Anytime im in front of a crowd is a special moment to me,because to opportunity to even perform and have people appreciate your talent is very special.

The internet opens alot of avenues for very talented artist and producers to be heard and seen by people who love real music.

That would depend on the creative control i would have.and of course the money.Having my creativity tied down is not worth the money.
Being something im not is not an option.

As a Bass player, he has the technique of Stanley Clark, the skill of Jaco Pastorius, the aggression of Larry Graham and the funk of Bootsy Collins. By combining his demanding and commanding style of musicianship with his God-gifted abilities of song writing, arranging, and producing, The Rugged’s sound is a phenomenon in Urban Music. He has worked in different capacities (writer, producer, co-producer, musician and advisor) with many artists.. The Rugged is currently producing several new artists. Additionally he owns and operates Official Business Entertainment, which specializes in music production, direction and supervision; film scoring, editing; engineering; and all aspects of audio and visual entertainment. The Rugged’s knowledge of music and the recording industry give him a competitive advantage in what can be a very ruthless business. Because of his experience and musical genius, he is able to work with some of the most talented artists while continuing to create music that appeals to the youthful and the wise.
