Once There Was is a project belonging to a quite tiny 25 year old Swede, Jessica. This project was started in mid 2002 and so far three demos have been released. Her music has been described as atmospheric opera influenced gothic rock.
Why this name?
I needed a name for my project when creating my first demo, and that's the name I picked since I thought it sounded pretty much the way I wanted my music to sound.
Do you play live?
Unfortunately not. Would be hard playing live with a one person band :P
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's easier making people discover your music, while you at the same time easily drown in the huge amounts of bands that are out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I want a contract, it's as easy as that.
