I'm mainly a Classical Guitarist, but I do dabble a little bit into country and rock music. I started out playing the piano at age 9, but soon switched to Alto Sax when I was about 11 years old. I've played the saxophone until I was in Junior College when I was invited to play for the Jackson Community Concert Band. After Playing a year, I transferred to 4 year University. However, when I was working as a student worker for Jackson Community College, I became friends with both all the members of the music teaching staff. In this, I became very good friends with the local guitar professor, who happened to be a classical guitarist. Two years later, Classical Guitar in now my main instrument.
Why this name?
My full name is Travis McCann Warner, the McCann only being my middle name. However, I am deeply rooted in Irish Culture, as most of my family is Irish by heritage. I'm currently working on my first Real CD, titled Irish Eyes, and so I thought using my middle name would suite the project more appropriately.
Do you play live?
I have played live at a few places, which I get a really big kick out of, I love it.
