Fieldstone Road is John Diniz, Peter Bergstrom, Cecil Billingsley and Jeff Joslin, a group of four musicians brought together to glorify God and our Savior Jesus Christ through music. We are from the East Central Illinois area and were brought together through an organization called The Bridge. http://www.thebridgemusic.net/

Our Mission:
Fieldstone Road is a group of Christ centered musicians committed to helping churches of all shapes, sizes, and denominations through use of modern worship music, techniques, and personal witness stories. Within the churches we visit we hope our ministry will bring their congregations, individually and as a group, closer to God.

Why this name?
John and Peter met, and were both brought to Christ, through their work at Horizon Hobby Inc. http://www.horizonhobby.com/ . The address for Horizon Hobby is on "Fieldstone Road" and given their rocky roads to salvation the name seemed appropriate.
Do you play live?
We play out as much as our busy lives allow. FSR has a standing gig at a local coffee house, The Steeple Gallery http://www.steeplegallery.com/ in Monticello, Illinois where we play at least once or twice a month.

We love playing live and sharing our ministry with those that God places in front of us. Music is a huge part of our lives in Christ and we hope that we can touch the lives of others through our music.

We've got 20+ originals that we've got polished for live performance, as well as many cover songs that are well known in the Christian community. Cecil and Jeff are the main writing force with John and Peter adding to the arrangements during the polishing process. With Cecil churning out lyrics at warp speed we can barely keep up.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is so vast and easily accessed by anyone,,,, anywhere,,,, who knows how different it has made the industry. We are just now scratching the surface. We still feel that playing live is the best medium for getting our message across to people.

Mp3's definitely make music more mobile. When we were "kids" it went from 8-track to cassette, cassette to CD and now CD to mp3. We are trully in the digital age and who knows what's next.....
Well,,,, "He" does 8^)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We are open to whatever God's plan is for Fieldstone Road.
Band History:
As stated above, John and Peter met at work and both were members of a band called "Witness" which was formed by Jeff and Cecil. Witness had gone through many different members with Jeff and Cecil at the core. John and Peter formed FSR to further their music ministry that was blossoming through involvement at their local church, Crossroads in Monticello, Il. http://www.ccwired.org/

After several months of struggling to find band members for both Witness and FSR we decided to join forces in a more focused music ministry to glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ.
