Black Chariot is fast, melodic and sometimes heavy black metal with a splash od death metal.
Why this name?
it was first the name of one of our songs, and when we found out our other band name was taken, we did some research and found that black chariot was not taken.
Do you play live?
we do play live. our biggest show was opening up for Metal Church.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it gives you a lot of exposure. it really helps.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if it was a metal label.
Your influences?
our influences range from metallica to dark funeral. the most influental band are the following:
ceremonial castings, dark funeral, mayhem, immortal, emperor, behemoth, cannibal corpse, and dimmu borgir.

Favorite spot?
it is fun to play in portland.
Equipment used:
our drummer (right now) has one 5 piece drum set, and a four piece put together to make a 9 piece. guitarist uses whatever he can get (dean, ibanez, b.c. rich, carelson, ect...) keyboardist uses a yamaha (around $3,000) and bassist (as of now) has a squire bass. vocals uses a very expensive mic.
