I don't have all of my material uploaded.
I still need to retrieve some of it from the furthest corners of the earth.

I'm Beau.
I play the geetar.
I record using my own equipment, I sing all the parts*, I play all the parts*, and I write all the parts*.
I write music for me and don't particularly care if anyone else ever hears it, but some people enjoy listening, so I try to make it available.
*unless otherwise noted, somehow.

Why this name?
Beau McDermott. That's me.
Do you play live?
I play live for friends and family.
I don't normally play material I've written since I enjoy creating new stuff so much, and besides, the majority of my music has a dark flavor to it.
The songs I make up on the spot are much more amusing.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a giant pain for big-labels. They are so large, it is nearly impossible for them to restructure their entire business models to suit the constantly evolving internet. So they fight it.
But it's a god-send for the independents.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With caution.
Band History:

Favorite spot?
Big fields, tall green grass, and no urbanization in sight.
Equipment used:
Yamaha MG10/2 Mixing Console, SM57 Mic, Samson S12 Mic, Line6 Spider 112, Acoustic Takamine G-Series, Acoustic Big Baby Taylor (not actually mine), Electric Fender Stratocaster, Electric Ibanez RG-series, Bass Ibanez Gio (also not mine), some little mini-guitar which is always out of tune and sounds flaccid, and whatever I find that makes noises I deem appropriate for recording.
Oh yes, and a compaq nc6000 laptop with a Creative Labs-SoundBlaster Audigy2 ZS, and AKG 271s.

Anything else...?
Currently the only recordings done correctly are "I want you in my love" and "Beautiful Dreamer"*.
So if you're judging my music based on recording quality, die.
*exception made for the simple songs consisting of me and an acoustic. Those songs are perfect.
