I compose easy listening and smooth jazz music, and I have begun performing live.
Why this name?
I chose the name Too Easy because I cover many genres of music, but most people who hear it feel it is excellent background or relaxation music.
Do you play live?
Yes, but not my own music. I play in a temple band, a trio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it allows many people with something musical to say to say it. Otherewise there would be no venue for us.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't see it happening, but sure, why not?
Your influences?
I love blues, rock, smooth jazz and some New Age. I think all of this has influenced my writing.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere my family is, but I sure loved Sedona, Az. and Nashville.
Equipment used:
I compose on computer with a variety of software, a PC and a Mac. I play bass full time now. I have a Musicaman Sterling and a Bongo bass. I also have a Warwick.
