Atrocious was formed from the Dystopia's founding member Atrocious, in the middle of the hot July of 2006 in Nicosia, Cyprus. This is a project one man band. Also there is one demo release 30 minutes long
Why this name?
As the name suggests Atrocious is about violence. Atrocious music want to give to the listener the most violent feelings, the most dead and funeral feelings, Atrocious is about the worst nightmares of the listener. Also Atrocious is about the ancient gods and satan. All in all Atrocious music is an antichiristian music. Music not for the masses.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
In some ways it helped music industry,for example people downloading from internet mp3 later go and buy original cds, but there are and the people who destoy the music industry by downloading and never buying and so no support to the bands
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Atrocious was formed from the Dystopia's founding member Atrocious, in the middle of the hot July of 2006 in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Currently Atrocious is working on his first demo which will be over 30 minutes of suffering. Also you can find 2 Atrocious songs at the official myspace page (you can find the link at the links senssion. The first song Dark Obscurity was written by Atrocious and Erus Fatum, the bassist of Dystopia.
Atrocious music is about his feeling, ideas, philosophy about life and all in all Atrocious music is what Atrocious is, The music style can be characterised as Funeral Black Doom Metal.
Atrocious influences are mainly from the Hellenic black metal and bands like Athos, Exetheris, Kawir, Legion of Doom. Also influences on him are My dying bride, Nortt, Shapes Of Despair, God Burzum, Mayhem, Dark Throne, Bathory.
Finally Atrocious wants to thanks Erus Fatum, Exetheris and Kerberos (Athos) for the great support and help. Also Lilac, Eset and Corkle Promotions.
