Silant the SicNess a.k.a. chrys was born in calli. He lived up and down the West Coast. He's been in and out of jails and prisons since a youg age. Through all the termoil he's keep his head up and stayed focused on his dreams which is music. He feels their is alot of fake ass people out here in this rap game as well in sacity. So he trys to be different by keeping it real to his fans and himself.
Why this name?
At first it was just silant, untill some of his friends realized he was sic with it and they added the sicness. Chrys is his first name.
Do you play live?
We are trying do get into the show programs, but we are from the streets so most of our $$$$ go to food and bills cuz we dont have wealthy people to pay our bills for us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We dont think the internet and mp3 harm small labels. If anything it help us promote an a larger basses with little to none money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the $$$ was right we'd jump on the chance to work with some of the top people in music but we'll always keep it real, and maybe we can bring hip hop back to the streets.
Band History:
Chrys been rapping for about 12 years. the first verse he wrote was in juvinalle hall in sacramento. He wasn't alowed papper and pencile in his room so he rememberized word for word and line for line one night and he hasnt stoped since.
Your influences?
growing up Silant listen to second to none, slick rick, 2pac, brotha lynch and too short.
Favorite spot?
this spot off of sunrise and greenback, its cool. Out in the middle of the desert also, that sh*** was fun.
Equipment used:
Right know we record on a basic ass computer with a computer mic....Thats a long way from our karaoki recording days

Just keep your faith in this music and if nothing new comes out or the site temporally gets shut down dont trip we probally just locked up, and when we get out and some kind of a foundation well have some new sh*** for ya'll.
