Lady Justine is really just a name the only member, Amanda, hides behind. She writes moody songs about all the nicer things in life like fun times with watching near suicides, loss, self loathing, depression, and does it all with a smile and whilst telling silly jokes and having a love for bunnies.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If it didnt change the music industry, you wouldnt hear all the little people like me. it makes underground music so much more accessible.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
ha, in a heartbeat. well maybe not if the terms were terrible and i had to sing shite pop songs.
Band History:
Shes been working on songs since she was about 12 or 13 and just now at age 18 has she decided her current songs are "somewhat listenable." Which is good enough.
Your influences?
like Fiona Apple, Cat Power, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Black heart procession, and maybe even Vanessa Carlton if her soul died.
