Hello there! I'm an obscure DJ / producer from Czech Republic. This is my acid/tekno/techno/breakz/IDM/whatever project, so get ready for some musical oddities.

Another projects of mine:

www.soundclick.com/djhacore for my older hardstyle / gabba sounds

www.soundclick.com/spaceglider for my ambient and experimental sounds
Why this name?
Dihydrogenergotoxin is a very strong nootropic (smart drug). Another type of ergotoxin is LSA and LSD. Make your conclusions.
Do you play live?
I play in the region around Rychnov nad Kneznou (eastern Czech Republic), usually on drum'n'bass and/or techno parties.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love the way companies desperately cry for help against the so-called "piracy". Now they don't really cry about the regulations they put on us, independant musicians, right?! Really, music (nor any other art form) shouldn't be about business.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Major? Never. A minor alternative label, sure.
Band History:
Started making music long time ago. Since 2005 I worked on my hardstyle project under the name "DJ Ha-Core". I also used to work with my fellow estonian mate MC Juxx on a harddance project called "Hard Factor". Since 2007 I began to explore more alternative genres under a new nickname, "Ergotoxin". Now and then I also work on my "Space Gilder" project, which aims on ambient. Gotta say it rather melts into "Ergotoxin" now, though.
Your influences?
The whole freetekno scene and culture. There's nothing more inspiring then the unforgivness of a mechanical techno beat roaring at you from a post-apocalyptic speakerwall!

I also get inspired by altered states of consciousness. Dreams, booze, drugs, weed, psychedelics, memories, nostalgia, alienation and other mess, you can all feel it here!

And the third thing is the rage against consume society, capitalism and authority in general.

Now join these three together in my brain and the result is the sound you are hearing!
Favorite spot?
Just in front of a speakerwall.
Equipment used:
FL5 and dozens of various VSTis. When playing, vinyl decks, mixer and a cd player for my own sound.
Anything else...?
Just have fun & enjoy the sounds :)
