Hurts So Much (Pain and Misery)

Another strange song from the loft. This is a rare treat. It actually has vocals, albeit strange muffled vocals that are virtually impossible to understand but vocals none the less.

mid-30s Acid Project right now is a one man show. It's basically one guy, a bunch of cool guitars, some computer software and an amp modeling device. Most of the music that is found here are works in progress.
Band/artist history
I started playing in the late 80s. After about ten years of struggling, I gave up for a good while and picked it back up again in 2005.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, live in my basement.
Your musical influences
Everything from classic Genesis with Peter Gabrial to Jeff Buckley, Blind Melon and Grant Lee Buffalo. My music taste is at best, eclectic. I think my very rough guitar playing reflects those influences and I look forward to my progression as a musician and how those influences will continue to shape me.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars: I have way too many of them if that is possible. I think the last count is somewhere around 17 or 18. I am actually at a point where I am starting to thin the crowd a little. I tend to play Strats more but I don't limit myself to Strats. One of my recent favorites is a hybrid SX/Squier Tele. It was used on "Exploring the Island of Mundro"; "Hurts So Much (Pain & Misery)"; and also was the lead guitar on "River of Saviticus" Another favorite that has shown up on songs recently is my Agile 3100. "River of Saviticus" featured three guitars. The Tele mentioned above, a Cort Pagelli, and a 1996 Chinese Squier Strat. I have actual Fender Strats but I find myself picking up my Squiers quicker. There is something to be said for the soul of a guitar versus the label of a guitar. Other: POD XT; for some reason these get a bad rap but I am totally blown away by the sounds I get out of this thing; I have two amps that get used infrequently, the first is a Pignose G40V which is an all tube amp. I swapped out the stock speaker for a Jenson Mod series. Great sound. I also have a Marshall mini amp; Cakewalk Music Creator 4 software; and Audacity freeware.
Anything else?
A big thanks to the guys at the Cort guitar forum; Darren Fischbach for all of his kind words and support; and Fender, Cort, SX, and Agile guitars for making such nice instruments that make my playing sound a little less horrible.
