“Sing from your gut baby” my mom said. “Like this Mommy” I said.
She holds her stomach and mines and lets out a beautiful melody.

A songwriter. A prodigy. She possesses a talent with a unique style in voice. She is determined to take music to a higher and deeper level.

Her name is Nyleescia.

On Long Island in the heart of New York Nyleescia grew up in a home filled with music. Imitating her mother a gifted songstress, Nyleescia would watch, listen and learn. “She had taught me that through song I can communicate with my higher calling and push through ups and my downs throughout life.

The idea of singing developed at the age of five, and realizing the gift of song and poetry at the age of nine where it began.
A small group of youth in the church chorus was an outlet and a chance for Nyleescia to shine. Escalating to the adult chorus only made her more eager to show her talent.

Time passing with her becoming more experienced in singing, she started to realize that her poetry can become her music. Formatting and placing words together, she created songs that came with it’s own creation of tune.
Auditions and performing for different events and special occasions became apart of her life. Observing the impressions that she left on people and souls that were touched, gave her more of a greater love for singing.

Participating in the NAACP gave her an appreciation of her culture and great education of understanding where music derived from. Winning the Act-So local competitions and having the opportunity to compete in the nationals was an experience. Nyleescia sang for success.

Performing for talent shows, weddings, special services, local showcases, Open Mic are all apart of her daily life. Nyleescia hopes to leave an incredible vibe and feeling in those that experience her.

Making music is a love that will never leave her soul. It is a need and not a want for her. She truly believes that if you think and portray positive steps within your self, you can achieve anything you want and become your hearts desire. You better believe that there is more to come from this songstress.
