I don't know if it does. But I'm hoping that the end result is the recording industry taking a good hard look at themselves and a shift away from the majority of the pre-packaged crap they shovel at the general public today.

If some fool offers me money, sure.

I spent years playing guitar/singing in crappy garage bands. I left that scene and started playing around with synths, finally moving to composing on the computer. That is when the desire to score movies or games came to me. I lost the desire/need to write music some time ago but found renewed passion for it recently. Mostly this is just fun for me, although I still love the idea of scoring movies and games.

Pretty much a little of everything.

All softsynths. Project 5 and Sonar 2 with a large variety of VST and DXi synths with my favorites being the three instruments from Spectrasonics (Stylus, Atmosphere and Trilogy).
