At this point, Angelwriter is a one woman band. I have been writing music for a while but only recently had a way to put all the instruments I hear together. Hope that it blesses any who listen.
Why this name?
I think that angels exist and are used as messengers. I like to think that my music is sometimes a message.
Do you play live?
I play live at my church.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has opened up a whole new world for people like me who just want others to hear their creative thoughts. There is a lot of talent out there to be discovered.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think if the opportunity was right that I would.
Your influences?
I have always been a fan of classical music. I love all types of music such as the Eagles, Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Chopin, Fernando Ortega. I think there is an influence of all of these types of music when I write. It really depends on the mood I am in.
Favorite spot?
I love to be on the lake.
Equipment used:
Korg Triton LE88, Sonar 4 Producer, Composer Pro-XL, Behringer 6 channel mixer
Anything else...?
I love to hear any comments anyone has to say.
