These songs are mine, given or inspired by God, His word, and my life. I don't play an instrument, so many of these are a Capella, and very rough-- just me, a mic and the computer in my living room. I have a friend that kindly helps me put songs to music sometimes, (thanks, Matt!) so at times you may find a song with a guitar track. That is a blessing!
Why this name?
Wordee is just my nickname, for email and internet.
The trio I sing with is called the Liberty Belles.
That is from our Church name, Liberty Baptist Church, in Columbia MO.

Do you play live?
Yes,the trio I sing with sings whenever we have the opportunity to.
We sing at picnics, benefits sings, church services, VA hospital, and fairs.
We'd love to have you contact us to share the gospel in song with you! (Check out the Liberty Belles home page for contact information)

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it possible for anyone to share their talents and gifts. You don't have to have a lot of money or know the right people, just have a message and a desire to share it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, if it was right and I thought that's what God wanted me to do.
Band History:
I wrote my first song at age 8.
Love to write songs, and am trying to get better at it all the time. (although sometimes life intrudes on the time needed)
I've taken songwriting classes at Steve Hurst School of Music Ministry twice, and this year went to the "Write about Jesus" workshop in St. Charles, which was a blessing!
The Liberty Belles have been singing together for years.
Dee sings lead and alto, Jane sings baritone or lead, and Judy sings high soprano or lead.
We love to sing, and pray that it blesses all. Occasionally we will sing some of my original songs.

Your influences?
McKameys, Nelons, Happy Goodmans, Cathedrals... southern Gospel? I love it!
My parents were HUGE influences, momma played the piano and sang, and Dad played the guitar, and harmonica and sang. Momma taught me songs when I was tiny and had my sister and I singing specials as long as I can remember.
Have gone to Steve Hurst School of Music Ministry for 5 years.

Favorite spot?
Love Kentucky, it is beautiful. The view from my front door is amazing, too!
Equipment used:
voice, computer, Sony Sound Forge software.
Anything else...?
I pray that God will bless the work that He's allowed me to do, and that I will allow the Holy Spirit to work through me, and improve my work.
