Dawnmichele and Steve have been playing music together for over 12 years in different band situations. From the Play "Tony and Tina's Wedding" at the University of Central Oklahoma(where they met),to the bands "Devine Earth" and "Fanny Grace"(www.fannygrace.com);they exist in perfect harmony. They are currently recording!!! Here and there an occasional benefit, party or clubdate arises! We hope you enjoy your stay......Rock On!!
Why this name?
When we first moved to Nashville we had no band so Steve was our musical service. After 9 years he still is because it seemes to create a cool sound. We have met many great musicians and song writers.
Do you play live?
Dawnmichele and the Service are always looking for musical fun!!!! Message us if you wanna play!
Band History:
Dawnmichele and The Service was born in Nashville on June 7, 2000 (it was painless)
The first song we recorded in 2001 was "Just the Two Of Us"; because it was! We recorded Got Me Guessin and it gave us inspiration. The response was flattering! We have recorded many songs since then and are currently recording. New song postings should be before 2009 ends!

Dawnmichele,
You go girl! I loved every one of your presentations. I found your site at "Blusey 2's".
What a voice. When I listened to your version of "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover", It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
Ever have some artist knock the wind out of your sails when you listened to their best songs? I think you pretty well have what it takes to do that. You have a style that I will probably never get tired of hearing. Your harmonies and arrangements lack nothing.
To quote the infamous words of A. S. "I'll be back"

Hi Dawnmichelle!
I really love your cover of My love. It's strange because it's mainly a piano song and now you have foud a new acoustic dimension. Great vocals, guitar playing and true nice recording sound. I'm touch!
If you have time, please take a look to my acoustic cover of Beatles' Misery in a more Lennonesque style.
