It has been my pleasure to have jammed, gigged and recorded with many great bands and musicians over the years. This site will represent a sampling of those taped encounters. Be gentle.
Why this name?
FirstMiddle
Do you play live?
I play live in church. It's a great audience: attentive, non-smoking, captive, and the audience actually pays attention to the music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
You're kidding, right?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, but it would have to done under my terms. I would want to have total control of everything and would require that only the Green Captain America Pez dispensers be put in my dressing room!
Band History:
I was born at a very early age in Sioux City Iowa Played my first real gig-i.e. for money-in December of 1965. Played in bands during the 60's in the Army-(clubs in the States, Vietnam, Mexico, and Germany). in the 70's(midwest, Twin Cities, Virginia, and Chicago. In the 80's in Sioux City. Started playing drums in Church with the Wall Brothers in 1983 and continue to play in church in Waterloo. (with a recording gig on the side every once in a while). In the 80's in addition to live gigs, I worked at two music studios serving as an audio and video engineer. I mostly recorded jingles for an ad agency, but was able to fit in some custom band sessions. Check out the Wauhobs at www.myspace.com/wauhobs. This was far and above my most memorable session;and theirs too.
