Im really new to the techno-scene. I used to do alot of hiphop beats. I grew out of it. It became really simple for me. I always had a ear for music. And a mind that could hear a sound that others couldnt hear. So when i started to do my own music is was the best thing i could have ever put my mind to. It expanded me and opened me into a whole new world. I give alot of thanks to the creators of everything digital we got today. (:
Why this name?
Fashion Victim. I choose this name because. I like Fashion alot. Its how you present yourself and how others view you. Im a victim of my own fashion "the diffrence between fiction and reality is that fiction is the extreme" -fashion victim is the extreme.
Do you play live?
I play live with my friends in my own room. I got alittle something set up here. Not much but its good enough for me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I belive mp3's and now a days with "p2p networks" and "torrents" alot of talented artist are losing money because people pirate alot of music when a new for example "50 cent album comes out" we say hmm why buy it? lets go to limewire and download it, then create a 100 copies and sell it to ignorant net people around the town who arent as experienced to know now a days u dont have to pay for music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I definitly would. Although coming into the music industry home style based. Non represented. I always did the music for myself actually. Never thought i would make it. But i guess my mind is open maybe one day someone will recognize the talent i got. So yes if the deal came to me. I would take it.
