Why this name?
People started calling my Da One when was into the battle rap thing back in the day. Over time friends started calling me D.A. for short. Big Phrats is a childhood nickname that a bra just cant shake.
Do you play live?
I do live show on occasion. nothing too serious. I've opened shows in the southern VA area for numerous artists
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
YES YES YES. INTERNET and bootleging has damn near destroyed the music industry. Dont get me wrong its exellent for the indie artist to get out there. But at the same time it killing the mainstream
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
DEFINATLY under the right cercomstances
Your influences?
THE SOUTH. And i mean the REAL south. Dirt Roads and Pine Trees SOUTH. I'm a real country boy. If you can wear white Air Ones outside ALL DAY LONG, and dont get em dirty, YOU AINT COUNTRY.
