Defying The Scene
Hey, we are Missing Motown, an Acoustic Hip-Hop duo.
We've been together a few months now and are writing some decent songs.
First there's Jay, the computer master and guitar man, he plans out all the music and sorts out the order, he's the roots of it all.
Then theres Jordan, he does all the vocals and lyrics, and plays a bit of rhythm guitar on the side, so thats Missing Motown, make sure you visit www.myspace.com/missingmotown and check us out.

Why this name?
Well, we decided upon it one night when we were watching a bit of the old telly and having a few bevvies.
Jay suggested to me that we started an Acoustic Hip-Hop band so i was like okay, but I really miss motown, can't we be a motown band instead?
When we decided we didn't have enough members or knowledge of motown music to be a motown band, we decided to stick to the first idea, sticking with the name, Missing Motown, because motown isn't around anymoer and it bloody well should be.

Do you play live?
We haven't played live yet, and to be honest I don't think we will, we wouldnt be that interesting live, just some guy playing guitar and the other one prancing about on stage like a prat.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well put it this way, without the internet or mp3, we just wouldnt happen.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah, we wouldn't want to get famous, just playing good music to people who want to listen to it.
