History:
I am Chazz Rokk. A son, brother, lyricist, producer, hip-hop lover, and all around cool guy. I reside where hip-hop is growing, not very fast but not very slow but surely growing.Where is that you ask? Portland, Oregon. I like to rep the Northwest as a whole because I frequent the Seattle area a lot though. When I tell people that I’m from the Northwest, they always seem to have a hoot. I don’t give a GAYLORD FOCKER though. I’m also Asian. But does that matter? No. If you got skill, you got skill. So beat that hot shot!
How I started rhyming? I started fiddling with writing rhymes every so often. Recorded them on my tape player. I thought that was tight. Then I moved on to the PC. I thought that it was even more tight. As I look back on those days, all those recordings were dispectable. I saved up some dough and bought some equipment and everything started going in from there. The energy, the quality, the motivation, the beats, the rhymes, and the soul.

Currently:
As of now, with support behind me, I’m starting to make my debut EP. HOT BEATS from a variety of producers. I also got guest MC spots from some fellow Northwest representatives. I really hope this will get me some recognition around my way and beyond. I want to do this hip-hop thang for my meal ticket. I don’t want to doubt myself but I also think from a real point of view that it’s mad hard to make it. I’m just keeping my head high, paying my dues, and looking for respect.
