LISTEN UP!! Rate my music and add it to your stations.

I'm Sivil Syko. Original in every sense, from my name to my music. I'm not here to imitate anyone, just being me. I first started writing when I was about 12 and now have reached the age of 23 and am ready to show the world how I've evolved into a serious artist ready to tackle the game like a tailback who thinks he's making it past the line of scrimmage. Normally I produce my own music and if I do not then I'll be the first to credit the proper person for the work they have done. I appreciate anyone who affords me the time to take a listen to my music, as well as any feedback they may have, because I'm here to grow and learn. If I don't know what the listener thinks then how will I ever reach the listener so that I'm able reach the spot that I aspire to attain. There are a lot of things I could write to you about myself, but if you just listen to my music, I'm sure you could get a pretty good idea of who I am, where I'm coming from, and where I'm going. Remember, LISTEN UP and KEEP IT UP, there's more to come.

Steady Grindin'
Sivil Syko

Why this name?
Sivil Syko = Civil Psycho

That's for those of you who won't take the time break the name down. My government name is Timothy Sykes. That's where some of the "Syko" comes from, but that's not it. It was in high school where I actually aquired the name just from actin' a fool and being down for whatever. The "Sivil" I added on my own, because of the way I handle business. I get mine.
Do you play live?
I have battled numerous times, though not for about 3 years now. I'm open for invites though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Obviously, you are able to promote to a nearly endless amount of willing listeners, as well as make albums available, so that you don't have to make all your impact on the street, though that's still what I prefer. Also the web is lovely for meeting new artists, and collaborating.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd prefer a label deal, because I have a serious business sense, as well as a few other hungry, able artists that I'd bring with me. I have already added every aspect of producing, manufacturing, and distributing an album so the connections would be nice to have.
Band History:
Treating it like a job to make it a career.
Your influences?
To many to list! My biggest influence is everytime I hear some weak emcee who made it. It makes me work harder, because in that manner it seems easy. It's only a matter of time.
Favorite spot?
Studio
Equipment used:
It's not what you use. It's how you use it.
Anything else...?
I'm STEADY GRINDIN' so I assure you that more is to come.
