Hard House/Hard Trance/Tech Trance

From an age of around ten years old I became interested in dance music. I would listen to Pete Tongs's Saturday night radio show and record the songs I liked! When Judge Jules became a presenter I would do the same for his shows on both his Friday and Saturday night shows. I then started going to club nights around the country such as: Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, London and in my local town if the nights that were on were any good. This then inspired me to get some turntables and start mixing. It took about six months to learn how to do it. I taught myself and felt a great deal of satisfaction once I mastered the art. I then wanted to move to playing in clubs so asked around and managed to get a set for the first time in Ipswich. From there my DJing has taken me to:
Ipswich - Zest/Sound Academy/Silver Star/Corn Exhange/The Venue
Norwich - The Loft/Owens/Lockstock
Colchester - Fagins Den
Wisbech - Commercial Club Night
Bury St.Edmunds - Studio 3
Previous DJing has meant ive warmed up for some of the best DJ's around including Charlotte Birch and Nicki Elise to name a but two.
Not happy with just mixing I then wanted to turn to production. I then moved to Norwich and started at Access To Music on their Creative Music Producer Course. Now in my second year and its going really well and currently working on tracks to include in my DJ sets.
The future holds more production and getting my records out there in an attempt to make an impact on todays dance music scene.....

Your influences?
My main influences into dance music have to be Pete Tong and Judge Jules. Through listening to these two DJ's on Radio 1 for many years while I was in my early teens really got me into house music. As my taste progressed into the harder side of music my influences came from the likes of:
BK
Andy Farley
Nick Sentience
Plus many more from the early Nukleuz and Tidy days!
Equipment used:
At home I use Reason, rewired into Cubase SX3 along with various VST's for synths and bass lines.
