Going, Going, Gone
We are a variety dou- playing acoustically in a variety of generes. We play both covers and original music. Our original music will be highlighted in this forum. We are kc and pj- going by kcnpj here because our band name, Phoenix, was already taken.
Why this name?
See above. Phoenix was chosen because kc suffered a toxic gas injury, as a fire fighter,that caused her to be unable to sing for over a year. It was kinda like rising again from the ashes- hence Phoenix.
Do you play live?
But, of Course! Mostly we play across the south. We love it or we wouldn't be doing it. Special moments- the day we met!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
YES! How could it not?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Doubtful.
Band History:
We we're bribed to be at the coffee house, at the same time, where we both we're playing. The rest, as they say, is history.
Your influences?
Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, etc., etc, pretty much everybody but rappers. No offense, just not our thing.
Favorite spot?
The Buffalo National River in the Ozark Mountains.
